Educational Qualification:	(i) Essential Ph.D in Library/ information science Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Sciences/ Documentation Science with 55% and above marks in aggregate Five years Experience as Senior Assitant Librarian in Level 11 (PB3 with AGP 7000/-) in a large Library of reputed Research Institute/ College. Working Experience in formulating and administering policies, rules and regulations, preparation of annual budget of the library, Planning and Management of Information Technology applications in the library, Expereience related to selection, acquisition, classification, cataloguing and maintenance of the library documents, facilitating various library services such as CAS, SDI, Reference, ILL etc. Developing short and long term plans for the library and related goals and objectives consistent with the library's mission. (ii) Desirable Experience: Experience in related media, technology, and information services aligned to knowledge management. Exposure to library software applications such as KOHA, D-Space, Zotero, Mendeley etc Publications in peer-reviewed journals/reputed journals on current trends. Membership in ALA/SLA/SIS/ILA, MANLIBNET, etc.
