Educational Qualification:	(i) Essential A Master 's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point —scale, wherever the grading system is followed). Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. Five years of minimum experience as Library Assistant or equivalent position in a large Library of reputed Research Institute/ College. ii) Desirable Qualification & Experience Ph.D or equivalent in relevant discipline. A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a Working Experience of DSpace and Koha Automation software. PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
