Educational Qualification:	Essential Qualifications a) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point -scale wherever the grading system is followed. b) At least ten years as a Librarian at any level in a University Library or ten years of teaching as an Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science or ten years‘ experience as a College Librarian. c) Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library. d) A Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping. e) Research score of as per the criteria given in Table at Appendix, shall be used for short-listing of the candidates.

The candidate has to take a print-out of the filled-in application enclose all the self-attested supporting documents and send it through registered post/speed post/courier to the following address on or before 27.11.2023 by 05:00 PM IST after appending the applicant’s signature. Applications without the signature of the candidate and incomplete forms ‘will not be considered’.
