Educational Qualification:	Officers under the Central/ State Governments/ Union Territories: (A)(i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or (ii) With six years of regular service in the post in the Level-5 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 29200-92300/-) [PB-1: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (Pre-revised)] or equivalent; and (B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience: Essential: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university or institute;. ii. Two years of professional experience in a Library under a Central / State Government Autonomous or Statutory organization / Public Sector Undertaking/ University or Recognised Research or Educational Institution. Desirable: Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
