1. Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade point scale wherever grading system is followed) from University or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University.A relaxation of 5% shall be given to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy Layer), MBC (Non-creamy Layer) and Differently-abled (Divyangjan) candidates. 2. Qualifying in the national-level test (NET) in Library Science conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC. 3. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided, it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009 and as amended by the ICAR/UGC from time to time (and also as per ICAR letter No. 23 (46) 2010-EQR (Edn.) dated 26 December, 2011, issued by ADG (EQR), and the candidate has at least Two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4,0 on the last date of submission of application. 4. Further, the award of degrees to candidate registered for the M.Phil/ Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/By laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: i Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode, only i. Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners iii. Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted. iv. Candidate had published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one in a refereed journal. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in seminars/conferences sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any other similar agency. |
How to Apply:
1. The application form in MS Word format and the Score Card should be downloaded from the University Website (www.aujodhpur.ac.in) and only the typed copy of the application form (in Times New Romans script and font size 12) and enclosures should be submitted along with signature on each page.
2. The candidates desiring to apply for more than one post must submit a separate application for each post in a separate envelope.
3. The candidates who have already applied the application form against University Advt. No. AUJ/2022/02 dated 13.01.2022 on the posts for which the interview was not held viz. Nematology, Agroforestry, Plant Physiology, Computer Science, Dairy Technology, Dairy Engineering, Assistant Librarian, will have to apply fresh application for such posts with proof of already submitted application form fees. Then, the application form fee is not required to be paid again for the afore-stated posts.
