The Institute is looking for dedicated and committed citizens of India to fill up the following vacancies on Direct Recruitment basis / Deputation with a provision for subsequent absorption/ Composite method of recruitment including promotion of internal regular employees etc.:

Age Limit:	Direct Recruits: 56 Yr Deputation: 58 yr
Educational Qualification:	Essential: 1. Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. 2. A Ph.D. Degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping. 3. Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library. Desirable: M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation /Archives and manuscript-keeping. Experience: At least l0 years as Dy. Librarian (Acad. Pay Level-L2, including a minimum 3 years of experience in Acad. Pay Level-l3A) in the Library of any Technical University, Educational Institute of National Importance, or any other large Technical Library.
