The Raman Research Institute is a premier autonomous institute engaged in research in basic sciences. It is funded by the Government of India. The Raman Research Institute, Bengaluru, is inviting applications for Two “Library Trainee” posts. Candidates interested in acquiring hands-on exposure to new paradigms in the profession may apply. The position is temporary for 6 months and is likely to be extended up to 2 years after a performance review.

Educational Qualifications	Essential: The candidate must have a regular Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) degree or equivalent and a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% in both degrees. Only those who have completed MLISc after 2020, and who are waiting for their results are eligible to apply.   Desirable: The candidate should have excellent technical and communication skills
