Educational Qualifications:	Essential: Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from a recognised University / Institute with two years’ experience in the relevant field in a university /research establishment/Central/State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library.  OR i. Bachelor's degree in Library/ Library & Information Sciences from a recognised University /Institute; ii. Three years’ experience in the relevant field in a university/research establishment /Central /State Govt./ PSU and other autonomous body’s library; iii. Knowledge of Computer applications.  Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent.
