EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Organizations
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis;
or
(ii)With six years of regular service in the post in Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200/-with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (Revised Level-5 of Pay Matrix) or equivalent.
(b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience
Essential :
Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized University or Institution.
(ii) Two years professional experience in a Library under Central Government or State Governments or Autonomous or Statutory Organization or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Research or Educational Institution
Desirable:
Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University of Institute.
