AIISH; Mysore invites applications for the following posts to be filled on regular basis at the Institute as detailed below:

POST NAME: Library & Information Assistant

The scale of pay: Level 06 of pay matrix under VII CPC

Educational Qualifications: 

Essential Qualification:

(1) Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University / Institute.

(2) 2 Years professional experience in a Library under Central/State Government/ autonomous or statutory organization / PSU / University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution.

Desirable Qualification:

(1) Diploma in computer applications from a recognized University or Institute.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST categories Rs. 40/- 

For women and PWD candidates exempted from payment of application fee.
