Central University of Gujarat (CUG) was established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) to generate and disseminate advanced knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities, promoting innovation in teaching-learning process and research, establishing linkages with industries for application of science and technology and educate and train human resources for the development of the country. The University has territorial jurisdiction over the whole of the State of Gujarat and admits students on all-India basis. The University is looking for qualified, accomplished and committed faculty members who believe in institution-building and have a passion for academic excellence through teaching and quality research. Online Applications are invited from eligible and suitable Indian nationals for direct recruitment to faculty positions in various Schools / Centres of Studies on regular basis on all India basis. Educational Qualifications	Eligibility (i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. (ii) (ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed). (iii) (iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2.

How To Apply:

Applicants who have applied in previous EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO. CUG/04-1/2019-20 dated 06/07/2019, EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO. CUG/20-1/2019-20 dated 25/01/2020 and EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION NO. CUG/13-1/2020-21 dated 16/10/2020 need not apply again. However, if they want to update any Education Details, Research Details or Experience etc. they can send the print out of online application (earlier application) along with Annexure-VII attaching supporting documents & updated Academic / Research Score (Annexure-I) if applicable, in hardcopy to “Recruitment Cell, Central University of Gujarat, Sector-29, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India - 382030” on or before 12/11/2021 up to 05:30 p.m. through Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier only, failing which the application will be rejected:

Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post will be required TO SUBMIT SEPARATE ONLINE APPLICATIONS ALONG WITH SEPARATE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESSING FEES. Candidates need to send hard copy of Printout of Online Application Form along with all self-attested copies of certificates / educational qualification / experience / testimonials and other requisite documents in support of eligibility must be attached with each application in the manner described in above point No. 1.
