Applications are invited for the position of one (01) Research Assistant each at the School of Library and information science, Gangadhar Meher University, Amruta Vihar, Sambalpur, Odisha, under the research project sponsored by Odisha State Higher Education Council, Govt. of Odisha (OURIIP-2020 seed fund). Tenure of appointment	The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, and /or till the fund is available
Research Project	Building a Digital Repository of Sambalpuri Saree Design and Techniques: An Innovative Way to Preserve and Access the Heritage
Education Qualification:	Candidates with a Master's degree in Library and Information Science with a minimum of 55% of marks from a recognized university. Desirable: Applicants have basic knowledge in database development using open-source software.
Job Description	Collection of field data, data compilation, and analysis, database development, report writing, and providing necessary assistance to Project investigator (PI).
