The Sahitya Akademi (National Academy of Letters) which deals in literature in 24 languages of India recognized by it, has been established by the Government of India, is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Culture to work actively for the development of Indian Letters and co-ordinate literary activities in all the Indian Languages.

Invites applications for the following posts on direct recruitment basis:

Age Limit:	40 Years
Educational Qualifications:	Essential: 1. Post-Graduate Degree in Library Science from the recognized University. 2. Five years experience in a reputed library. 3. Working knowledge of two Indian Languages in addition to mother tongue. 4. Good knowledge of computer applications in Libraries. Desirable: i) General knowledge of literature and contact with the literary community. ii) Experience in Library Research. The incumbent selected is liable to be transferred to any of the offices of the Sahitya Akademi located in India.
