a) Qualification: 

Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science with at least 55% marks from any recognized University / Institution.

b) Age: Below 45 years

c) Desirable Qualifications: 

PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent;  Knowledge of Computer Applications; Knowledge of Creation and Maintenance of Digital Repositories using OSS, preferably DSpace; Knowledge of Metadata Creation using International Standards; Knowledge of using innovative Lib 3.0 tools; Evidence of experience of the above-indicated jobs; Knowledge of various day to day activities in a special library.

d) Experience

Minimum experience of 10 years in handling various jobs in special libraries in a digital environment.

e) Remunerations:

Basic Pay Rs. 47,600/- plus DA & other allowances
