Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for appointment on a deputation basis to the One Post-Librarian Group 'C' in Central Research Institute, Kasauli in the matrix level-4 (Pre-revised scale of pay Rs. 5200-20200+G.P. 2400) General Central semester Group 'C' (Non- Ministerial). Application of only such Officer's will be considered as routed through proper channel in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-I), in duplicate. The post is to be filled by composite method Deputation (including short term contract Promotion) as under the Central Government having following qualifications;

Deputation:

(a) Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union territories.-

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the present cadre or Department,  or

(ii) with eight years of regular service in the posts in the pay band-1, Rs.5200-20200+gr pay of Rs. 1900 or equivalent, and

(b) Possessing the qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits un Column -7.

(i) 12" pass from a recognized board or University; and

(ii) Diploma in Library Science. 

Note 1. The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily exceeding three years. 

Note 2. The maximum age limit for deputation shall be not exceeding fifty-six years as the closing date of the receipt of applications.

Note 3. The departmental official in the feeder category who are in the direct line promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. 

Note. 4. For purposes of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January 2006 or the date from which the revised pay structure based on the Sixth Central Pay Commission recommendations has been extended shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay and pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Commission except where there has been the merger of more than one pre-revised scale of the pay into one grade with common grade pay and pay scale, and where this benefit will extend only for the post for which that grade pay or pay scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

1. The person selected will be entitled to draw pay deputation allowance in accordance with the Department of Personnel & Training. O.M No. 2/11/2017-Estt. (Part-II) dated 24-11-2017 and as amended from time to time.

2. The application of suitable officers who are willing and eligible for the post and who can be spared immediately in the event of selection may be forwarded, through proper channel, duly verified to the Director, Central Research Institute, Kasauli within 60 days of publication in Employment News in the prescribed proforma with ACR/APAR dossiers for the last 5 years Integrity Certificate, Vigilance Clearance and a statement giving details of major or minor penalties imposed on the officer, if any, etc. 

3. The candidate once selected for the post will not be allowed to withdraw the candidature under any circumstance. Incomplete application shall not be entertained.
