Online applications are invited for the preparation of a panel of Professional Assistants who are willing to work on a contract basis for a period of 6 months on a consolidated salary of Rs.25000/- in the existing and arising vacancies at the various Self-financing Centres directly run by the University of Calicut. Candidates are requested to submit their bio-data through the University website: https://www.uoc.ac.in/ on or before 05.08.2021.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Graduation in any discipline from the University of Calicut or from any other University recognised by the University of Calicut.

2. Graduation or Post Graduation in Library Science from the University of Calicut or from any other University recognised by the Unversity of Calicut.

HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates short-listed for interviews will be informed by e-mail/SMS/telephone. The vacancies of Professional Assistants that arise in the various Self-financing Centres, directly run by the University of Calicut will be filled up from the panel prepared on the basis of qualifications and interviews etc. as per this notification. The candidates should furnish details of their qualifications and experience, if any, in the online application form.

The candidates short-listed for interviews should produce the certificates in the original proof of their age, qualification, experience and community. Candidates possessing degrees from other Universities in Kerala and outside should also produce an Equivalency Certificate issued by the University of Calicut. In case original certificates are not submitted for verification, the candidate shall lose his/her claim to be considered for the selection interview.

Engagement on a deputation basis will not be considered.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
