Applications are invited for the post of Library Assistant (Technical) (Contractual Post-01) for a period of 06 months initially. Applications shall reach the university on or before 20.05.2021 along with all supporting documents related to educational qualification and experience.

Pay Scale	Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand Only)- per month all-inclusive.

Educational Qualification:

1. Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.

2. Knowledge of Computer Operation in Library work is mandatory. It includes-

(i) Knowledge and experience of working with any standard "Library Automation Software" for House Keeping activities in the library such as cataloging, acquisition, and circulation, etc.

(ii) Knowledge and experience of computerized search both of online and off-line databases including retrieval of desired information through various search engines/processes; plagiarism check software experience is required.

3. Knowledge of report compilation, processing of book/ e-book, journal/ e-journal procurement, minutes preparation of library-related meetings, library organization, etc.

4. Organization of webinars/ online workshops for the university.

Desirable: 

Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute. Age: Not more than 44 years as of 01/01/2021. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
