Education Qualification:

1. Minimum Masters Degree in Library Science from a recognized university in India or abroad with at least 60% marks.

2. Ph.D. in Library Science will be given preference. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work. Thorough knowledge of computerization of Library.

Work Experience:

Post-Master's minimum of 8 years of work experience in the Library. Out of a total of 8 years of working. 3 years of relevant experience as an independent in charge of the Library in Central/State Government Organization/Autonomous institutions like IIMs / IITs / Centrally funded institutions / Private Higher Education Institutions of national repute.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

2. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
