1.	Assistant Librarian Age: 35 Years	01 (UR)	Academic Level 10 with Entry Pay of Rs. 57,700/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.	Essential Qualification: As per the UGC latest guidelines which are at present 1. A master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55 % marks. 2. A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of the Computerization of a Library. 3. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the NET by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SETor Who are have been awarded a Ph.D. (Regular mode) degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standard for the award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) regulations, 2009 or 2016.
2.	Professional Assistant Age: 35 Years	01 (SC)	Academic Level 6 with Entry Pay of Rs. 34,400/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.	Essential Qualification: 1. 50 % marks (45 % in case of SC/ST) in Master's degree with B.L.I.S. or its equivalent degree or Bachelors degree with M.L.I.S. or its equivalent degree with % marks (45 % in case of SC/ST). 2. Knowledge and experience of acquisition of books, periodicals, cataloguing, documentation, circulation, computer applications in Library and Information service, etc. Desirable: Knowledge of any one of the languages; Arabic/Oriya/Marathi/Tamil/Chinese/Hindi/Santhali/Assemese/Urdu/Persian/German/Russian/Italian/French/Japneses, etc.
3.	Semi-Professional Assistant Age: 35 Years	01 (OBC)	Academic Level 5 with Entry Pay of Rs. 29,200/- as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix.	Essential Qualification: 1. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline and B.L.I.S. or its equivalent degree from its equivalent degree with % marks (45 % in case of SC/ST). Desirable: 1. Knowledge and experience of acquisition of books, periodicals, cataloguing, documentation, circulation, computer applications in Library and Information service, etc. 2. Knowledge of any one of the languages; Arabic/Oriya/Marathi/Tamil/Chinese/Hindi/Santhali/Assemese/Urdu/Persian/German/Russian/Italian/French/Japneses, etc.
