Education Qualification:

Retired persons who have worked in the Central Govt. or the State Govt. or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous organizations fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria. 

Essential: 

1. Who have held posts of Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, and Lower Division Clerk or equivalent on regular basis and;

2. Possessing the following qualification and experience : 

    i. Bachelor's Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a             recognized University or Institute.

    ii. Two Years professional experience in a Library under the Central Govt. or the State     Govt. or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous or Statutory     organizations or University or recognized Research or Educational Institution.

Desirable: 

Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
