1) Post : Librarian

Pay : Entry Pay Rs. 1,31,400 (Academic Level 13A)

Eligibility :

(i) As per UGC norms.

(ii) Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science or Documentation Science with minimum 55% marks or equivalent and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in +2 and UG level

(iii) Experience: 8 (Eight) Years' experience as an Assistant Liberian/Deputy Librarian at University or College Level.

(iv) Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/ Information Science /Documentation Science/Archives and Manuscript keeping/ Computerization of Library.

(v) Evidence of innovative library services including integration of ICT in library.

Age Limit : 55 years

2) Post : Assistant Librarian

Pay : Entry Pay Rs. 57,700 (Academic Level 10)

Eligibility :

(i) As per UGC norms.

(ii) Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science or Documentation Science with minimum 55% marks or equivalent and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in +2 and UG level

(iii) Knowledge of Computerization of a library

(iv) Ph.D. in Library Science/ Information Science /Documentation Science/Archives and Manuscript keeping/ Computerization of Library

or thesis submitted with NET/SET/SLET qualified*

(vi) Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years of experience as Assistant Librarian/ Librarian in a Higher Education Institute is highly desirable

Age Limit : 45 years
